Items Needed:
Size 7 circular Needles
Suze 7 DPN set
1 skein of orange COMFORT DK (color A)
1 SKein of Pink COMFORT DK (color B)
1 skein of Zarina total Easy Care Color 1719 (color C)
1 Skein of Cool Wool color 11 (color D)
DIRECTIONS:
Cast on with yarn C 110 stitches. Join making sure the stitches are not twisted.
knit 1 Round
Purl 1 Round
Change to Color A.
knit 1 Round
Purl 1 Round
Change to Color D
knit 1 Round
Purl 1 Round
Change to Color B.
knit 1 Round
Purl 1 Round
Change to Color C and knit 4 Rounds.
Change to Color A and knit 4 rounds.
Change to Color D and knit 4 Rounds.
Change to Color B and Knit 4 Rounds.
You continue this pattern until you have knitted 22 1/2 inches. (If you are making for a smaller baby you can knit until 19 1/2 inches).
Decrease:
Continuing with the color pattern: Knit 9 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through the round
Knit next round
Knit 8 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 7 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 6 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 5 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 4 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 3 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 2 stitches, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
Knit 1 stitch, ssk next stitch. Continue doing this through this round
Knit next round
ssk all stitches on this round
Break yarn and draw yarn though the stitches on the needle, pulling them tight. Fasten off.
