I have been making toy bunnies for all those Easter baskets. If you are still looking for a soft, lovable bunny, please see my Etsy shop <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/226414957/super-soft-bunny-10-tall">Mom's Creative Creations.</a>
Here are just a few of the bunnies I have made the last couple of weeks.

However, I am the type of person that does not like to not contribute to our household financially. I am working every day doing thing to earn money and gift cards so I can purchase what we need and not feel guilty. Now, let me say I am not bringing in a huge amount of money. I am averaging approximately $100 per week. I am going to list the sites that I have already gotten things from so I know they work (not scams).
1. <a href="https://www.textbroker.com">Textbroker</a> - I write assignments and get paid by word. It can take up to 3 days for the client to approve the assignment. You must have $10 to payout and they payout on Thursday nights.
2. <a href="https://www.perk.com/perk/invite/e34259c2">Perks</a> - You can earn gift cards by watching videos and doing tasks. It will take a little while but you will get gift cards.
3. <a href="http://www.instagc.com/228261">instaGC</a> - This site is great. There is a variety of things for you to earn either cash or gift cards. You can request a payout of gift cards at just $1 or request a direct deposit into your bank at $5.00.
As I confirm other sites I will gladly add them to other posts. Have fun and good luck!Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-58150962159412337872015-01-28T14:44:00.001-08:002015-01-28T14:44:26.870-08:00Sunsweet's Eat Well, Be Well ContestHere is another contest to enter!

This little guy is all finished and shipped out to his new owner. I got it on good notice (the little boy's mother) that green was the owner's favorite color. Also he is getting this new puppy for his birthday. Hopefully he won't be holding his hope up too high for a live puppy. His owner is turning 4 in just a couple of weeks. I am hoping my puppy can provide some love and support to his owner over the years.

This is the snuggle blanket I recently knitted. I am also thinking I am going to make some fleece blankets and add animal's to them such as teddy bears, puppy dogs, kittens, and safari animals.
I was also contacted to make a Creeper from the Minecraft games. Here is a picture of my creation:
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglzNbVmn_Ebs7Ud6fBjdVgOG0V28i0cEQIQUWk1SL-kRtceA_iK47X2PzlrEAuH82LwNmq-HkQsEA4RwUlWJrsgqmthhS9xa8haRvpZUt7WIAimE8u6q5qVaeHOBqTDQKGSjRxbJlOx1Y/s1600/Creeper.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglzNbVmn_Ebs7Ud6fBjdVgOG0V28i0cEQIQUWk1SL-kRtceA_iK47X2PzlrEAuH82LwNmq-HkQsEA4RwUlWJrsgqmthhS9xa8haRvpZUt7WIAimE8u6q5qVaeHOBqTDQKGSjRxbJlOx1Y/s320/Creeper.jpg" /></a></div>
The young boy also got a mine craft hat that I created. I am currently working on the pig from the same game for this young man. I am trying to keep this from my 8 year old granddaughter because she is a huge fan as well. :)
I am working on one of my stuffed puppy dogs in a forest green and off white. I will gladly post a picture once he/she is finished.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-89946433808861478642015-01-06T08:59:00.001-08:002015-01-06T08:59:06.852-08:00Chatabout.comI have been using a site that allows you to "chat" about many different subjects. For the chatting you earn points towards things such as gift cards or even cash sent to a paypal account. I love this site. While it takes a little while to get enough to cash out it all adds up.
I will admit I don't spend the time on the site that would allow me to earn the cash quicker. However, they do have a Bonus Area which allows me to earn more points for doing things such as surveys, entering sweepstakes, watching videos, and listening to music.
You really should check it out. Here is a link if you are interested. http://chatabout.com/referral/u/53642Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-77896785351235388252015-01-03T02:05:00.002-08:002015-01-03T02:07:34.918-08:00Attempting to make some money doing things I loveAs part of the new year, I came back to a site called bubbles.com. My profile on <a href="http://www.bubblews.com/account/143117-suzagrace9">Bubblews</a> can be found by clicking the link. For every person that clicks on one of my writings and either likes it or comments on it I get money in my bank. I can cash out when I reach $50 (once a month). I know $50 is not a lot of money but my plan is to get as many writing sites going and let it all add up.
I am also working very hard on my Etsy store. <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/MomsCreativeCreation?ref=hdr_shop_menu">Mom's Creative Creations</a> I would really appreciate it if you would stop by and have a look. I am knit and crocheted items. Also, if you don't see exactly what you are looking for, please start a conversation with me. Most of my work is based on custom requests.
I am also going to start looking into Mystery Shopping as a way to add to the income.
If anyone has any other ideas, please post a comment below.

It is that time of year again... Christmas. While I love Christmas and spending time with my family and friends it really does become crazy.
For example, every morning this week I have gotten up and baked something for Christmas. Today (as I write this post) I have my second batch of banana nut bread in the oven. I do have to admit that I love the smell of baking goodies.
Yesterday I spent all day wrapping Christmas presents and only have a few more to go today. Yes we have a very large family!
To make things a little crazier this year, I stopped working for another employer and started working full time knitting through my Etsy.com store - <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/MomsCreativeCreation?ref=hdr_shop_menu">Mom's Creative Creations</a> .
I have one gift to finish knitting before Christmas. I am staying positive it will happen.
Our family got some great news the other night. I just found out that my son and his girlfriend got engaged. We will be planning a wedding very soon.
In case I don't get the chance before Christmas, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. If your family celebrates a different holiday, please know I wish you a very Happy Holiday Season.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-61987228568492985552014-06-22T08:02:00.001-07:002014-06-22T08:02:39.831-07:00Chatabout.comI have recently found a site that you can earn points by commenting on different areas. They also have an area where you can get "easy" points or take a daily poll to earn points.
It really doesn't take too much time to earn enough points for such things as Amazon gift cards. You really should try this site! I did manage to finish the last 10 pages of John Grisham's book "Sycamore Row". By the way this was a wonderful read. I highly recommend it.
I have picked up and put down my knitting numerous times today. I can't seem to get into anything on the television...nothing interests me. It bothers me because I am fully aware that we only have so much time on this earth. I hate wasting days! HATE. I do feel like I have completely wasted a day that I will never get back.
I also have to admit that the joints are so achy today. Even my fingers feel like they are twice the size as normal but they are not.
Well, I need to go fix dinner and then try to force myself to knit some. I am test knitting a hat pattern for someone and really need to get through it. I am enjoying the pattern and hope to make some more. Yes, I am making it in very soft yarns so it can be a chemo cap for Baltimore-Chesapeake Head Huggers Group!Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-22017095033846829512014-01-22T08:10:00.001-08:002014-01-22T08:10:42.059-08:00Making Money onlineI am trying to find true legitimate ways to earn money either telecommuting or on-line. The problem is that so many sites are scams. I have started to blog on Bubblews.com. They will pay out at $50.00 but at first it takes a really long time to get to the $50 mark.

Mini Snowman
Size 5 needles
DK weight yarn (1 skein will probably make 5-6 snowman) white
Scraps of yarn to make hats and scarfs
With White yarn, cast on 10 stitches
Row 1: K1, M1 in each stitch (20 stitches)
Row 2: purl
Row 3: K1, M1 in each stitch (40 stitches)
Row 4: Purl
Rows 5-23: Stockinette Stitch (ending with a purl row)
Row 24: * K2, k2tog* repeat across
Row 25: purl
Row 26: *K1, k2tog* repeat across
Row 27 – 39: stockinette stitch (ending with a purl row)
Row 40: * K2, k2tog* repeat across
Row: 41: Purl
Row 42: *K1, k2tog* repeat across
Cut yarn leaving a 12” tail, with a tapestry needle draw the yarn through the remaining stitches and draw the stitches together. Using the same yarn, sew the back of the snowman. Stuff the snowman and then draw the yarn through the bottom stitches, drawing the bottom closed. You can either use small eyes or use black yarn to embroider eyes on.
Hat:
Cast on 24 stitches
Rows 1: knit 2, purl 2
Row 2: knit 2, purl 2
Rows 3-6: repeat rows 1 and 2
Row 7-19 stockinette stitch (ending with a purl row)
Row 20: *k2, k2tog* repeat across
Row 21: Purl
Row 22: * k1, k2tog* repeat across
Row 23: Purl
Row 24: Repeat Row 20
Row: 25 Purl
Row 26: Knit
Row 27: Purl
Row 28: Repeat Row 22
Row 29: Purl
Row 30: Knit
Row 31: Purl
Row 32: Repeat row 20
Row 33: Purl
Row 34: Repeat Row 22
Row 35: Purl
Row 36: K2tog across
Cut a 12” tail of yarn. Using tapestry needle, draw yarn through stitches still on needle and pull the tightly closed. Using the same yarn, stitch up the back of the hat. Either make or use a pre-made pompom and sew it at the tip of the hat.
Scarf
Cast on 4
Rows 1-4 knit
Row 5: knit 1, wrap the yarn 2x knit in next 2 stitches, wrap yarn 2x, knit 1
Row 6: knit 1, drop wrapped yarn, knit 2, drop wrapped yarn, knit 1
Repeat rows 1-6 until scarf is desired length.

I have been on a knitting frenzy over the last few months. I am beginning to realize that I can conquer patterns I did not think I could before. <br /><br />Friends and family all seem to be having baby booms so I have been knitting a lot of baby items. I knitted this round blanket for a co-worker's granddaughter that turned 1 2 days ago. I thought I had a picture of it but apparently don't. :( It was light pink with a yellow center.<br /><br />My oldest daughter and her husband are expecting their first child (Annabel Rose) any day now. Needless to say I have been keeping busy with my knitting for our newest little princess. I made a flower afghan and a sweater. The sweater is the first one I have ever made and will make more. I found the confidence in sweater making by this first little one. Here are the pictures of the blanket and sweater:<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7pwWgoY5Qzi-rosbTNqwV18y8ZOhbUPyAZAMoVezUyukLpiti9xX-u_cFApqQcpy5XAn8hXsvZSDxkOlCHtJoWelTWx-xPCWW4AK-PhNNj32FESr9A3iYzKYccA_NqA115ldK1Kd1Jk0/s1600/Sweater+for+annabel.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7pwWgoY5Qzi-rosbTNqwV18y8ZOhbUPyAZAMoVezUyukLpiti9xX-u_cFApqQcpy5XAn8hXsvZSDxkOlCHtJoWelTWx-xPCWW4AK-PhNNj32FESr9A3iYzKYccA_NqA115ldK1Kd1Jk0/s200/Sweater+for+annabel.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582811397825658290" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYGDM0MpltCqmf_3nWGOnlB8JRHogfSSwA8cEcn_C-itCd6CqA0UbmX3TuKNjicp7Q507cpZoCUDBbw-U7xvgfSDdT5sRa1DuU7lNR8DmA-0O7MSXcibL6-NFsPbd8POxDw58C5EdlA4M/s1600/afghan.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 184px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYGDM0MpltCqmf_3nWGOnlB8JRHogfSSwA8cEcn_C-itCd6CqA0UbmX3TuKNjicp7Q507cpZoCUDBbw-U7xvgfSDdT5sRa1DuU7lNR8DmA-0O7MSXcibL6-NFsPbd8POxDw58C5EdlA4M/s200/afghan.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582811199089531442" /></a><br /><br />Once I made the sweater for Annabel, my oldest granddaughter, Alia, wanted a sweater also. I made it for her but have not seen her since I finished it to see if it fits. I hope to see her this weekend.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjStEsSzTiTt5qEOzl2b367S16So2HAJNvTPE06nAXvoPijYv7YTkpk_mts_9kx8elLo2rjzfbjMPmWvDN7c1TXaU1LMudV0Np4i78iYhTiOS6d0uaGgLma7iFw33_v8YFT2fMHvvGNxck/s1600/Alia%2527s+Hoodie+001.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 184px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjStEsSzTiTt5qEOzl2b367S16So2HAJNvTPE06nAXvoPijYv7YTkpk_mts_9kx8elLo2rjzfbjMPmWvDN7c1TXaU1LMudV0Np4i78iYhTiOS6d0uaGgLma7iFw33_v8YFT2fMHvvGNxck/s200/Alia%2527s+Hoodie+001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582811919247860418" /></a><br /><br />I am determined to lower my yarn stash so I am trying to make as many projects out of the yarn I have instead of buying. I am working on a knitting needle case for a friend that also knits. I am using left over yarn from a book bag project I made years ago. By the way, the little sweater for Annabel was made from left over yarns from a project I made when Alia was born. Alia will be 5 years old in April. Time just flies by.<br /><br />I am also starting to think about little knit projects I can make for Christmas gifts for next year. It is never to soon to think about Christmas if you are making gifts.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-8724246654497998462010-08-15T04:57:00.000-07:002010-08-15T05:18:30.214-07:00Photo Scavenger Hunt - ColorsI am taking part in a photo scavenger hunt where I have to find pictures I have taken or take pictures with certain colors in them.<br /><br /><br />Below are my finds:<br /><br />This was taken this winter during one of the 3 blizzards we had.(White)<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmp5DE8-iQDDUXu6MU-t-23sQauVYFgn9tbeMHUTVtOKxC9sxhHXxp4EV13j2DiLHzN2mYiLwfVdfYx4GMf7QALA-uXpmSljSSkp29wKDw2EyYUZijfAe3zuFhDzdFb8qUfUzJ0QkDqp0/s1600/snow+004.jpg"><img style="display:block; There have been so many changes going on in my life over the last couple of months I don't know where exactly to start...<br /><br />I will start with the most significant change. Jim and I have decided to co-habitat or as he refers it as "shacking up". I have been in the process of clearing out my apartment and deciding what I want or need to take with me and what I can dispose of. It is absolutely amazing how much stuff can be crammed into closets and under beds when you are living somewhere for any length of time! Goodwill is going to love me over the next month. I have decided that most of the furniture can be either sold or donated. My late husband and I purchased most of the items in the apartment together and I really want to start "fresh" with Jim. I don't want to have constant reminders of the past while I am working on starting a new life with such a wonderful man. While I am busy working on my apartment we are also busy getting Jim's house organized so we can combine households. I never thought about how time consuming combining two lives can be. :) However, I am loving each and every moment we spend doing this because we are doing it together. In case you haven't figured it out, I am madly, deeply in love with this man!!!!!<br /><br />One of the side effects of living in Millersville now is I am not watching any television. Jim does not own a tv and doesn't have cable. As of now, I am not really missing watching it (except for watching the Ravens games). It is interesting to see what other things a person can do when there is no television to take up hours of time at a clip. I have read more books recently than I have in years (and I have always been an avid reader). I am also pulling out my crafting supplies and getting back into the activities that I have always loved. Eventually, I would like to go back to school but I want to get settled in here first. I also want to start volunteering somewhere to help those less fortunate than myself.<br /><br />As things settle down, I will keep you posted on what is occurring in my life.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-73975407589183685862009-06-08T14:36:00.000-07:002009-06-08T14:40:51.519-07:00One Month After my Nest emptiedHere is one month later and I am still trying to adjust to the ability to do whatever I want, whenever I want. I do love not having to answer to someone else; however, I have found it is a little lonely coming home and not having anyone here. I truely miss having a significant other caring whether I am home or not. Even having my youngest daughter living with me was nice because she would call to see what I was doing before I headed home from work. <br /><br />I am finding that I am spending way too much time on the computer so I am in the process of finding new things to do by myself. I have read quite a few books and am working a crochet project as a gift. Once I give it to the person, I will post a picture of it on here. :) Well I better get back to the crocheting. I will keep you posted on my "new" life!Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-19728666798998760222009-05-12T14:23:00.000-07:002009-05-12T14:44:49.227-07:00I have a empty nest!On May 1, 2009, my youngest daughter, Laura, moved into an apartment with her girlfriend. They moved into an apartment that was directly across the parking lot from my own apartment; however, they moved out! Ha ha.<br /><br />I was nervous at the idea of living by myself because I have never lived alone as an adult before. I am finding that I do like it. I can cook dinner when I want, I can come and go as I please (without checking in), I can have company without wondering if the kids are coming home. Don't get me wrong, I love all my children. It is nice to see them grow up to be responsible adults that can take care of themselves.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5650934054815498912.post-5354556560934988942009-04-04T04:35:00.000-07:002009-04-04T04:48:04.121-07:00JourneyliteI have struggled with my weight all of my adult life. I truly believe I have been on almost every diet out there! I have been talking with my doctors about having gastric by-pass. We have been having this discussion for a couple of years now. <br /><br />If you are one of the people that know me, you know I have to research almost everything. LOL Therefore, I have been researching the different gastric by-pass surgeries and locations for having the surgery. I came across this center, <a href="http://www.journeylite.com/our_facilities.php?l=7">lap band surgeon cincinnati</a> during all my research. I love all the information they have on their website for prospective patients. Almost every section you click on they describe that area but also have videos so you can visually see what they are describing also. I think that would help remove some of the fears that patients may have.<br /><br />They even have a section that discusses all the options to pay for this type of surgery. They provide the (CPT) code, 43770 you should ask your insurance company if they cover while you are calling. This is nice because if you have ever tried to get pre-approved through an insurance company for any type of procedure you know it can be a very tedious process. By knowing the exact code to ask for you are eliminating them giving you incorrect information.<br /><br />I highly recommend looking at <a href="http://www.journeylite.com/our_facilities.php?l=7">lap band surgeon cincinnati</a> if you or any friends and family are considering the Lap-Band gastric surgery.Suzy's Cornerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14844820534261756680noreply@blogger.com0
